Stating that they are continually contributing to Edirne as TOBB, Hisarcıklıoğlu underlined the fact that the most precious investment is that which is made in people. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Every investment has its risks. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. You never lose when you invest in people. The country benefits, the city benefits, the individuals benefit. The factor which determines our country’s status globally is how our citizens are educated. Today, the most precious capital is not gold, gas or oil; it is educated people. As TOBB, this is the mentality which guides us. We invest to the education of every province to fit the needs of each. We must not be content with only increasing the technical or empirical capacity of our youth; we must also imbue them with history, culture and spiritual values.”

Minister of Health Mehmet Müezzinoğlu stated that in order to strengthen civilization, it is necessary to put spiritual and physical health at the center of affairs.

Müezzinoğlu stated that countries can only succeed if they build upon strong foundations of knowledge, wisdom, truth and justice.

Müezzinoğlu reported that the faculty of religion would not only serve Edirne, but the whole of the Balkans. Directing a question on when it would be completed to TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, he was answered with a year and a half.

- There can be no loss in investing in people

Edirne Governor Dursun Ali Şahin stated that the development of the country would be achieved with combining the material and spiritual power of the people.

Rector Prof. Dr. Yenek Yörük thanked Minister Müezzinoğlu for his contributions to the education of enlightened theologians.

Following the speeches Müezzinoğlu and those accompanying him laid the foundation and conducted the opening of the Dental Health Center.
