Visiting Buldan Municipality Handicrafts and Culture Center, Hisarcıklıoğlu toured the various booths and visited the Buldan Chamber of Commerce PresidentHalil Baştürkmen at his office.

- Support for miners’ families

In reply to the questions directed to him by press, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that they would be presenting the families of the miners who perished in the mining incidents, 17 in Ermenek and 1 in Zonguldak.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “As TOBB, we will not be handing out any extra presents to our presidents and members. We have decided to provide the families with houses. According to the decision we’ve made, we will be providing 17 houses in Ermenek and 1 in Zonguldak to the families of the miners who were martyred during the mining incidents there.”

Stating that they mobilized the business community to support the families of the miners who lost their lives at the Soma mining incident, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “A record number. We presented the 17 million TRY to the government. May we never experience such anguish ever again.”

Afterwards, Hisarcıklıoğlu visited craftsmen and tradesmen, Hisarcıklıoğlu examined local goods made out of Buldan cloth. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu left the county for Denizli.
