Civil society organizations’ hospital visit to Bingöl Security Chief

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with the presidents of KAMU-SEN, MEMUR-SEN, HAK-İŞ, TÜRK-İŞ, TZOB and TİSK, visited the Bingöl Chief of Security, Atalay Ürker, at the Numune Training and Research Hospital where is undergoing treatment as a result of the armed assault on him.​

Speaking with the press on behalf of the delegation following the visit, Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK) President Bendevi Palandöken said, “Let Turkey see that the civil society organizations of Turkey condemn terror.”

 

Palandöken stated that this visit had been conducted following their meeting with Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu at the TOBB Arbitration Meeting with the attendances of representatives of many organizations, chambers, exchanges and syndicates.

 

Reporting that bringing the solution process to an agreeable conclusion had been discussed during the meeting, Palandöken said, “We will solve the issues with our brothers who we’ve lived with for a thousand years.”

 

Stating that the heinous assault on Bingöl Security Chief Ürker is very saddening, Paladöken said that Turkey can solve this matter through unity and solidarity.
