Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated in his message:

“As the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), we remember once again with great respect, gratitude and appreciation the founder of our Republic, the redoubtable statesman, the Great Leader Atatürk on the 74th anniversary of his passing; as the Turkish business world, we renew our belief in our country, our will to serve and to protect it.

His words, ‘Tradesmen are those to whom the labor and production of the People have been entrusted to so that they may render these more valuable through their hands and minds, and those who must honor this trust,” has become our rallying cry.

It is with this principle that we heartily believe that we will bring to fruition the works we have undertaken on the path drawn for us by Atatürk in order to be worthy of the trust he has in us.

We will forever protect the charges the Great Leader Atatürk left us to carry our country to the summit of modern civilization. We are acutely aware that we are charged with laboring tirelessly and producing in order to secure a respectable position for our nation in the modern world.

With the understanding that commemorating him is only possible through sufficiently understanding him, we will work to honorably represent our country’s flag in every part of the country.

In light of the trust he put in Turkish free enterprise; our great community has assumed as its sacred duty to be at the vanguard of growth with the hope, energy, unity and solidarity he has gifted us with and we bow respectfully before his great memory.”
