Macedonian President Ivanov in Ä°stanbul for the TOBB 60th Anniversary Business Forum

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu welcomed the Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov, visiting İstanbul to attend the TOBB 60th Anniversary International Business Forum, at the İstanbul Atatürk Airport. Hisarcıklıoğlu and Ivanov held a short conversation at the İstanbul Atatürk Airport VIP Lounge. Also present during the welcoming ceremony were İstanbul Deputy Governor Ali Bakoğlu, İstanbul Municipality Secretary General Erman Tuncer, Foreign Affairs İstanbul Representative Ambassador Mehmet Dönmez and a military officer representative.​

The guest President Gjorge Ivanov will be delivering a speech on Thursday the September 13th, 2012, at the TOBB 60th Anniversary International Business Forum. Approximately a thousand businessmen from 88 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East representing the leaders of the international business world will come together at the organization.
Issues to be addressed at the Business Forum are, the role of the private sector during times of crisis, strengthening of entrepreneurship and the removal of obstacles to trade. Also taking place in Ä°stanbul between the 12th and the 14th of September are the General Council and Board of Directors meetings of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the World Chambers Federation (WCF).
