TOBB Türkiye Electronics Council established

The Türkiye Electronics Council, established under the Directorate of Sector Councils of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), held its first Council meeting under the chairmanship of Seyit Ardıç, TOBB Board Member responsible for the Council.​

In the opening speeches, it was emphasized that the leadership of the Council Presidium is important for the newly established Council in accurately reflecting the problems of the sector and finding solutions. Then, the election of the Council Presidium for the first term of the Council was started.

As a result of the election, Vestel Elektronik San. ve Tic. A.Ş. General Manager Ender Yüksel was elected as President and Yıldırım Elektronik Tic. ve San. A.Ş. General Manager Memduh Süleyman Alkan as Vice President.

The meeting ended with a briefing on sectoral evaluations made by the Council Members.
