The Turkish Police Corps shoulders a sacred duty

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu published a message regarding the 167th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Police Corps.

In his message Hisarcıklıoğlu said:

“The Turkish Police Corps, with its experience spanning 167 years and deeply-rooted history, is carrying out its duty to preserve the public order and the citizens’ peace with great success.

The Turkish Police Corps, who put their lives on the line to preserve the unity and solidarity; who have sacrificed so many of their number to combat destructive and schismatic terrorism; who carry out their duty with honor and competence shoulder a sacred duty.

The members of the police earn the love and trust of the people with their success and the projects they implement. We have no doubt that they will continue to carry out their duty with determination, purpose and success.

We respectfully remember the members of police who have fallen on the line of duty, protecting the Turkish Republic from threats from within and without, from those who would divide the Great Turkish Nation and wish a healthy life with their families to the veterans.

It is with these thoughts and feelings that I, on behalf of the Turkish business world, celebrate the 167th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Police Corps and present my gratitude to all of our police members.”
