In January 2024 (4,678 units), the number of capacity reports approved decreased by 9.4% (484 units) compared to January 2023 (5,162 units).

Of the 4,678 capacity reports approved in January, 1,359 were issued in İstanbul, 308 in Ankara, 302 in Bursa, 281 in İzmir, 241 in Konya, 174 in Kocaeli, 143 in Gaziantep, 104 in Kayseri and Tekirdağ, 90 in Manisa.

The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industry Database increased by 0.4% (389) from 96,941 in January 2023 to 97,330 in January 2024.

According to Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 1.9% (75,129 units) from 3,914,558 in January 2023 to 3,989,687 in January 2024.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
