Invitation to Philippine businessmen

The Philippines Ambassador Marilyn J. Alarilla visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. During the meeting the economic relations of the two countries were addressed.
Ambassador Alarilla, stating that the Philippines are unfamiliar with Turkey and Turkey’s investment environment, said that meetings to bring together the businessmen of both countries need to be held.
TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu requested that Ambassador Alarilla direct her efforts towards inviting a committee of Philippine businessmen to Turkey and the establishment of a Business Forum. The Turkish-Philippine Business Forum is an important step for the development of economic and commercial affairs between the two countries said Hisarcıklıoğlu and stated that he plans to visit the Philippines in 2012.
