The summit was started off by the speeches of the USA Vice President Joe Biden, Chairman of the Grand National Assembly Cemil Çiçek, Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan and Economy Minister Zafer Çağlayan after which, Turkey's fastest growing 25 companies, as determined by TOBB and All World Network, were presented their awards.

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with the USA Vice President Joe Biden, met with TEPAV Director and TOBB ETU Deputy Rector Güven Sak, TÜSİAD President Ümit Boyner, MÜSİAD President Ömer Vardan, TÜMSİAD President Hasan Sert, TOBB GGK President Ali Sabancı, TOBB KGK President Aynur Bektaş, MIT Establishments President Selçuk Kiper, TOBB Venture Capital Council President Göktekin Dinçerler, Technology Development Foundation Secretary General Mete Çakmak, Endeavor Turkey Founder Didem Altop, USA Ambassador to Turkey Francis J. Ricciardone and high level USA officials.

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu relayed his views on the Turkish-American economic and commercial relations to the USA Vice President Biden.
