In his meeting with Queen Elizabeth II, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu, the subject of the visit of the Queen Elizabeth II to Bursa in 2008. Queen Elizabeth II stated they recalled Hisarcıklıoğlu presenting them silkworm cocoons and expressed their pleasure for the visit.

Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the Prime Minister David Cameron and Prince Charles. During the meeting David Cameron stated that he was impressed with the atmosphere of the TOBB Conference Hall and the meeting.

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the most interest points during the first visit on a presidential level in 23 years were the Turkish flags lining the road to Buckingham Palace and the red and white coloring of the “London Eye” Ferris wheel’s lighting on the Thames River in honor of President Abdullah Gül’s visit.
