Iranian Ambassador to Turkey H.E. Bahman Hosseinpour visited TOBB

TOBB President Mr. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu has received Iranian Ambassador to Turkey H.E. Bahman Hosseinpour on 28 January 2011, at his Office. At the meeting, Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu gave information regarding the Turkish President H.E. Abdullah Gül’s visit to Iran on 13-16 February 2011, with a businessman delegation organized by TOBB- DEİK and asked Mr. Ambassador’s kind assistance for an active participation from the Iranian side. ​ ​

The Ambassador of Austria, Gürer visited the President of TOBB M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu

The Ambassador of Austria in Ankara, H.E. Heidimaria Gürer and the Vice President of Austria-Turkey Cooperation Association Aynur Kuytu has visited the President of TOBB M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at TOBB Headquarters. The topic of the meeting was the development of Austrian-Turkish relations and how ÖTZ can contribute to this improvement. ​ ​

Ambassador of Cuba Visited TOBB

Ambassador of Cuba, Jorge Quesada Concepcion visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at TOBB headquarters in Ankara. During the meeting, emphasizing that the trade volume between two countries should be increased and the representatives of the business world should know each other better, TOBB President Mr Hisarcıklıoğlu invited Mr Conception to the meeting which will be held in Antalya in February 2011 under the Project of “Latin America meets with Anatolia’’, a project aiming to improve the trade relations between Latin American countries and Anatolia. ​ ​

Chamber Presidents met in Ukraine

The Prime Minister of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan was the guest at the meeting organized with the participation of, President of TOBB, M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu, and Presidents of 360 Chamber and Commodity Exchange organized in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev. In his speech Erdoğan said, “We will achieve the goal of 40 billion dollars in 10 years by strengthening the commercial relations with Ukraine and reinforcing cooperation.” ​ ​

Hisarciklioglu is at the Turkish-Ukrainian Business Council Joint Meetings and Business Forum

The President of TOBB and DEİK, M. Rifat Hisarciklioglu, attended the Turkish-Ukrainian Business Council Joint Meeting and Business Forum held in Ukraine Business and Cultural Center. The Prime Minister of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, spoke at the opening of the Forum specifying that decisions were reached regarding the agreements of Free Trade between Turkey and Ukraine, removal of visas and these agreements will be implemented parallel to the re-admission agreement. He stated that, “This agreement should turn into flesh and bone, be materialized and the visas should be removed as soon as possible.” ​ ​

Ability'10 Specialized Vocational Training Centers (UMEM) Project’s web site, opening an important door for unemployed people, is breaking to a record. Within 12 days, site received 7.7 million hits and 12.000 course application.​ ​
