Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The briefing meeting in regards to ISO 17025 Laboratory Accreditation certification, held for the commodity exchanges which have established their laboratories, took place at TOBB Twin Towers with the attendance of 150 personnel from 75 exchanges which have laboratories.​

The number of the newly established companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships increased by 35,09%, 103,57% and 205,52% respectively according to the previous month.​

Regulatory Commission, Request Review Commission, Economic Report Review Commission, the European Union Compliance Commission, Tax Commission, Foreign Affairs Commission, Press Release Commission, the Economic Policy Committee, Construction and Contracting Services Board, the Livestock Committee, Agriculture Committee, SME Policies Board, the Tourism Board Vocational Education Committee and the Board of Social Policy have conducted their first meetings, electing their presidents, vice presidents, speakers and rapporteurs.​

TOBB has begun Basic Quality Training for 144 chambers/exchanges which had not previously started their accreditation process.​

As part of the TOBB Chamber/Exchange Accreditation System efforts, “Basic Accreditation Training” was conducted at the TOBB Social Facilities Şefik Tokat Hall on the 7th and 8th of February, 2014, for the accreditation specialists beginning work at their respective chambers/exchanges.​

According to the date of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Commerce and TIR Department, during the January of 2014, in comparison to the January of the previous year, the number of Transit Permits have increased by 0.08% while a decrease in TIR Carnets by 25.76% was observed.​

TOBB Board Vice President Çetin Osman Budak attended the introductory meeting for the “Electronic General Assembly System” prepared by the Central Registry Institution held in İstanbul.​

The number of Capacity Reports in 2012 increased by 7.05% in 2013, from 63,937 to 68,443.​

TOBB Turkey Paper and Paper Products Industry Council convened in İstanbul under Council President Erdal Sükan to discuss unfair competition and work on paper standards.​

TOBB Turkey Education Council convened under Council Vice Presidents Eyyüp Kılcı and Cem Gülan in order to discuss matters effecting the sector with the attendances of the high level representatives of the state and private sector and civil society organizations.​
