Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), evaluated the Medium-Term Program (MTP) announced by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz. In his statement, Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed the following views:​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) is introducing 45 new schools to students in the new academic year. TOBB brought 43 schools to education last year, while 10 schools are under construction and 56 schools are in the project design phase. Having completed 241 educational facilities to date, the number of schools that TOBB has gifted to our country and children will reach 307 when all schools are completed.​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the World Chambers Federation and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), congratulated Ankara Chamber of Commerce, which ranked first in the world in the Best Chamber Innovation Project category at the World Chambers Competition held within the scope of the World Chambers Congress held in Melbourne, Australia, and Denizli Chamber of Industry and Eskişehir Chamber of Industry, which were among the three best chambers in the world by reaching the finals in the Best Green Transformation Project category.​

Within the scope of his contacts in Melbourne, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the World Chambers Federation and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), met with Vladimir Dlouhy, President of Eurochambres, Garry Litman, Senior Vice President of the US Chamber of Commerce, Ali Adji, President of the Cad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Marcelo Elizondo, Director General of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services and President of ICC Argentina.​

The General Council meeting of the World Chambers Federation was held in Melbourne, Australia, with new members elected for the 2025-2028 term.​

Within the scope of his contacts in Melbourne, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), met with Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Thani, President of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce, Nicholas Reece, Mayor of Melbourne Metropolitan Municipality, Gennadiy Chyzhykov, President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yang Hao Bo, President of the Shenzhen delegation of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and the delegation of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the first Executive Board meeting of the World Chambers Federation, of which he is the President. At the meeting held in Melbourne with the Vice Presidents of the 2025-2028 period, the road map for the new period was evaluated.​
