Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

A Protocol on Cooperation in the Preparation of National Qualifications was signed between the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Vocational Qualifications Authority (MYK).​

As a part of the “81 Academic Advisors to 81 Provinces” Project carried out by TOBB/TEPAV since 2014, efforts are being made to increase the institutional capacities of Chambers/Exchanges in Mardin as well as increasing their contribution levels to regional development.​

TOBB MEYBEM Vocational Proficiency and Certification Centers held exams for certification in Wooden Molder, Reinforced Concrete Iron, Plasterer, Heat Insulator and Concrete Mixing, in cooperation with the Çanakkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry on May 13-15.​

TOBB Vice Chairman Halim Mete participated in the Signing Ceremony of the Target Zero in Construction Sector Declaration.​

TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken attended the Ordinary General Assembly of the Turkish Bar Association (TBB). ​

Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey organized training for 1st and 2nd Term Accredited Chambers regarding ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System.​

TOBB Turkey Textile Industry Council Meeting was held in Gaziantep with the participation of NGOs and senior representatives of sector, presided over by Council Chair President Abdulkadir Konukoğlu to discuss the latest developments in the sector.​

TOBB Turkish Food Industry Council convened at the Istanbul Service Building under the TOBB Vice Chairman Ali Kopuz.​

Turkish Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) Board Member Hakan Ülken, stated that despite ths issues facing the countries in which Turkish contractors are active, the amount of new contracts received in 2016 have reached a volume of 12.7 billion USD.​

The 31st “Occupational Health and Safety Week” events were organized in Gaziantep Şehitkâmil Municipality Culture and Convention Center on 04-07 May 2017. TOBB Board Member Şahin Bilgiç attended the launch ceremony as a part of the week’s events on behalf of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). ​
