The 9th Turkey Commerce and Industry Summit was hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, presided over by Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım and attended by Deputy Prime Minister Nurettin Canikli, Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci, Customs and Commerce Minister Bülent Tüfenkci, Food, Agriculture and Livestock Minister Faruk Çelik as well as the board and council chairs of 365 chambers of commerce and commodity exchanges at the TOBB Conference Hall.​

Speaking at the TOBB Board Meeting attended by Treasury Minister Naci Ağbal, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu touched on the Medium Term Program announced by Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım the previous day, “There is a matter of great importance for me. It is planned to bring current deficit below 4% while raising growth rate to over 5%. This is imperative for Turkey to attain the path to sustainable growth.”​

Organized by TOBB, one of the most important entrepreneurship events, Power of the Future: Entrepreneurs (Geleceğin Gücü Girişimciler) G3 Forum continues to spread the spirit of entrepreneurship throughout Anatolia. The second G3 Forum Anatolia which will bring entrepreneurs and investors together, will be held on October 11th, 2016, in Trabzon. G3 Forum brought entrepreneurs of the Black Sea Region together with the TOBB Young Entrepreneurs Council Chair Ali Sabancı as well as many prominent entrepreneurs of the country such as Gülden Yılmaz, Evrim Aras and Nevzat Aydın.​

TOBB Startup İstanbul is bringing the prominent investors and entrepreneurs of the world together in İstanbul. A thousand guests from among global entrepreneurs have been invited to the event. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, drawing attention to the fact that many companies direct their operations in hundreds of countries from İstanbul, said, “İstanbul can act as a center for not just large companies but also a center for startups in Asia, Europe and Africa. TOBB Startup İstanbul is the first step in making İstanbul into global entrepreneurship center.”​

Former Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioğlu appointed to the UN Permanent Representation visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

Russia takes first step to lift visas for Turkish businessmen. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with the delegation accompanying him, had conducted several contacts in Russia, urging that visas be lifted for businessmen.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Hasköy Mayor Mürsel Özen as a part of his Muş visit.​

The new service building of the Muş Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) was opened with a ceremony attended by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

In Muş for the opening of the new service building for the Muş Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Muş CCI), TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the marriage ceremony of the son of the Muş CCI Chair Fatih Cengiz, Ümit Can Cengiz.​
