Speaking at the ceremony, Hisarcıklıoğlu touched on the subject of July 15^th, “One of the first provinces to react against the coup attempt. You were at the frontlines in the fight against FETO. Muş was one of the first provinces to defend democracy and the will of the nation. You stood vigil. That is what befits the courageous people of Muş. On behalf of our community, I thank you for that. TOBB was the first organization to stand against the coup when the announcement was read on TV on Friday. I am proud of the chairpersons of the 365 chambers and exchanges throughout this incident. They all stood firm from the first moment.”

Stating that provinces which have their governor, mayor and NGOs stand united achieve success, Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that he can clearly see this unity present in Muş. Reporting that Muş’ economic statistics are over the national average Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “This is an indication of the grace and solidarity present in Muş.”

Pointing out Muş gives no quarter the terror, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Without peace, there can be no trade. Without trade, there can be no prosperity. If you want to prosper, you must open the way for trade. There is but one remedy necessary for trade and that is peace. That’s what is present in Muş. Do not be afraid to come to Muş. Do not be afraid to invest in Muş. The people of Muş are welcoming.”

- Government purchase guarantee

Touching on the investment package announced by Prime Minister Yıldırım, Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that the investment package is one of the most important in the history of the Republic and that as they’ve stated the importance of it before, there will be government purchase guarantee as a part of this package, “Muş is also covered with this package. This is a significant opportunity for investors and traders. Muş is one of the most financially attractive provinces of Turkey. Invest in Muş. Both you and Muş will profit.”

Emphasizing the importance of the agricultural and livestock farming sectors, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that those who invest in these sectors, “Agricultural and livestock farming sectors hold great potential. The land is extraordinary. The people of Muş have nothing to complain about. The plains of Muş need to be cultivated and won over for Turkey. Agricultural and livestock farming will become sectors high strategic importance.”

Reporting that a Credit Guarantee Fund branch will be opened in Muş, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “TOBB is working on facilitating access to financial tools. We will endeavor to do this for the members of our 365 chambers and exchanges. Via the Credit Guarantee Fund we will act as guarantor for you while 21 banks stand by to provide credit.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that a protocol has been signed with the Ministry of Labor and Social Security as a part of which TOBB and its 365 chambers and exchanges are training personnel for you. We provide a monthly pay of 1,300TRY during training while the government covers insurance costs. While providing vocational training we also provide these benefits as TOBB. This will ensure their employment.”

Stating that economy cannot be improved without improving democracy, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We must do this. That is the way to prosperity. We are all created different. We will think differently. Allah has seen it fit to grace us with brains. We must bring our differences together; there is grace and prosperity in unity.”

- Muş CCI Chair Cengiz

Muş CCI Chair Fatih Cengiz thanked TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu for his constant support, touching on the importance of the inspiration they derive from TOBB.

Cengiz stated that they are working to establish an OIZ in the county of Hasköy. He also stated that Muş CCI has begun work to acquire accreditation.

Chairman Cengiz ended his address by denouncing the coup attempt of July 15^th, stating that these heinous attacks would not bring the nation to its knees.
