Kahramanmaraş KMCCI Mediation and Arbitration Center opened

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu spoke at the opening of the Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce and Industry's (KMCCI) Mediation and Arbitration Center at the inauguration of Kahramanmaraş, praying for the grace of Allah upon Kahramanmaraş’ martyred Specialist Sergeant Orhan Sürmen, who fell during Operation Olive Branch; stating that the Turkish business community always stands with the government and armed forces.​

Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Bergama business community and opened new service building

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, participating in the opening ceremony and consultation meeting of the new service building of the Bergama Chamber of Commerce, emphasized that the future of Bergama is brilliant and said, “Let's use our potential to its fullest.” Hisarcıklıoğlu provided information on what TOBB, along with the chambers and commodity exchanges, has done in the past year and stated that Respite Credits will pave the way for SMEs.​

New ‘Respite’ for SMEs

Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, Prime Minister Mehmet Simsek, Customs and Commerce Minister Bülent Tüfenkci, Signatures were set down in İzmir for the new Respite Credits which will be actualized with the contributions of chambers and exchanges under TOBB’s leadership with the attendances of Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Ahmet Arslan, Minister of Health Ahmet Demircan and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

Visit of the Kastamonu Commodity Exchange to the forest products plant made with the EU project

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu toured the “Joint Processing Facility for Industrial Forest Products” realized by the Kastamonu Commodity Exchange (KTB) as a part of the “Competitive Sectors Program” in which the Kastamonu Commodity Exchange invested 10 million EUR". Hisarcıklıoğlu posed for photographs with the workers, receiving information about the facility from the KTB Chairman Sedat İşeri.​

If the road and harbor issues are resolved, İnebolu becomes the gate of Central Anatolia

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, speaking at the İnebolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated that following the Ilgaz Tunnel, the Kastamonu-Inebolu road needs to be completed quickly, “The issue of Inebolu Harbor has to be resolved as soon as possible. This port is the foundation of industrialization in this region. With these two goals completed, Inebolu will become the gateway for Central Anatolia. It will pave the way for exports to Black Sea countries.”​

Hisarcıklıoğlu evaluated growth figures

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu evaluated growth figures for 2017. Expressing that Turkey has garnered high praise around the world with its annual growth rate of 7.4%; Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We are the fastest growing country of G20; we ranked 2nd among the OECD. Growth figures give morale to our country and are a source of hope and confidence for the business world.”​
