We are ready to cooperate with Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan Ambassador to Ankara, Canseyit Tüymebayev, visited the TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. During the visit which took place in the TOBB Union Center, Ambassador Tüymebayev relayed information regarding Kazakhstan. The establishment of a joint industrial zone and the Turkish Speaking Countries’ Cooperation Council Summit which is to take place on the 20th and 21st of October in the city of Almatı in Kazakhstan were also discussed.

An open trade agreement would be beneficial to the people of both countries
The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “There is an obstacle to increasing the investment and trade volume of both countries. An open trade agreement. If we were to sign an open trade agreement it would be beneficial to the people of both countries. We await the abolishment of these obstacles.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu toured the Elazığ Promotion Days Fair
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu toured the Elazığ Promotion Days Fair held at the Ankara Atatürk Culture Center. The fair, where local goods and produce from Elazığ are promoted, was organized by the Elazığ Governorship, Municipality, the Elazığ Culture and Promotion Foundation and the Elazığ Culture Foundation. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu visited each booth and received information.

Women’s entrepreneurship is not a fad it’s an imperative
Speaking at the Balkan Union of Chambers (ABC) Women Entrepreneurs Council’s 1st Meeting, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that in order to prosper and raise the level of wealth, increasing entrepreneur numbers is crucial. Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that increasing the number of women entrepreneurs and balancing the rate of men and women in deed and land register numbers will also play an important role in decreasing violence against women.
