Alliance between Hisarcıklıoğlu and Minister Şahin to increase the number of women entrepreneurs

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Family and Social Policies Minister Fatma Şahin and wished her success in her new duty. While Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the need to increase the number of women entrepreneurs, Fatma Şahin said, “A bird with one wing cannot fly, an athlete wing a one leg cannot run. We have to use the power, the mind and the experience of half the population.” After the meeting, together with Minister Şahin, the TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu made an announcement, saying that the largest organization of women entrepreneurs in Turkey was part of TOBB and Minister Şahin’s contribution to their activities has been great.​ ​

We can’t abandon nuclear energy

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yıldız. In his statement with Minister Yıldız after their meeting he emphasized that the most important issue of the next 20 years would be energy and that it was not possible to abandon nuclear energy.

The private sector took on a very critical role in the development process

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Minister of Development, Cevdet Yılmaz and expressed his well wishes and wished him success. Visiting the Environment and Urbanism Minister Erdoğan Bayraktar, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Bayraktar has accomplished many important achievements to date and went on, “I believe that the Minister’s practical and goal-oriented approach will enable both environment and urbanism to aid the development of the Turkish industry.”

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu: “We condemn terror which thrives on crimes against humanity”

In his message regarding the heinous attack in Diyarbakır which resulted in the death of 13 and wounded 7 of our soldiers, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that terror was a crime against humanity and that those who committed it would not be allowed to threaten the unity and solidarity of this country, but would go down in history as the perpetrators of these vile acts.
