Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

TOBB President and TOBB Economics and Technology University (ETU) Chairman of the Board of Trustees M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his November 24th Teachers Day address stated that teachers are the most important actors shaping the future of society.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the consultation meeting of the Chambers and Exchanges of Ankara and its counties.​

TOBB is establishing a Turkish-Arab Chamber by signing an agreement with the Union of Arab Chambers. The chamber will bring the Turkish business community into contact with 22 countries totaling an economy of 2.7 trillion USD. The agreement will be signed in Istanbul on November 24th, 2016.​

Hisarcıklıoğlu urged an increase of flights to Uşak in order to increase trade, also gave good news in a “respite credit” for the business community who are experiencing difficulty in accessing finance. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the award ceremony of the tax record holders as well as the opening ceremony of the new service building of the Uşak Chamber of Commerce and Industry accompanied by the Minister of Customs and Commerce Bülent Tüfenkci.​

In his address at the opening ceremony of Uşak TOBB Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they are planning to build schools in 81 provinces, "We put great importance on education. All investments we make in business are a risk. The only investment without risk is education. For that reason, we support the building of schools as much as we can as the TOBB community.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Uşak Commodity Exchange along with the Minister of Customs and Commerce Bülent Tüfenkci.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in Uşak to participate in the opening ceremony of the Vocational and Technical Anatolia High School built by TOBB in Uşak as well as the new service building of the Uşak Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Award Ceremony of the Economy Value Contributors organized by TOBB, visited Municipality Director Nurullah Cahan.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Uşak Governor Ahmet Okur together with Customs and Trade Minister Bülent Tüfenkci.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the launch meeting of the Saudi Arabian Airline SAUDIA's Ankara-Jeddah flights at the Saudi Arabia Embassy. ​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received Aksaray Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Ahmet Koçaş at his office. ​
