Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the new service building of Kayseri Chamber of Commerce, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Turkey will continue to grow and strengthen despite all odds, preserving its unity and solidarity.​

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), attended the 23rd Yeşilyurt Culture, Cherry and Sports Festival. Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the people of Malatya were of the highest caliber and modest.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, evaluating the registration of the Malatya apricot as a geographical marker in the European Union (EU), said, “This is actually the registration of the brand. Today, the apricot is 1 lira, tomorrow 2 liras. This will actually come back to Malatya as wealth. Therefore, I congratulate the Chair of Malatya Trade and Industry Chamber as well as Malatya’s opinion leaders.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, speaking at a consultation meeting held in the TOBB Twin Towers with the participation of chambers and exchanges of the Mediterranean Region, pointed out that important regulations have been passed in the last 6 months and said that they want the business world to be informed and benefit from them.​

The chambers and exchanges of the Black Sea Region met in TOBB for the consultation meeting. At the meeting hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the activities undertaken by chambers, commodity exchanges and TOBB for the business world were laid on the table.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the decision to suspend accession negotiations between Turkey and the EU in the Turkey Report, which was announced today in the General Assembly of the European Parliament, has saddened the Turkish business community and went on to say that this decision would benefit neither Turkey not the EU.​

Central Anatolia Region Meeting was held at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. Consultations were held during the event which brought together the chairpersons and secretaries general of the chambers and exchanges of the region.​

The union of Chambers and Commodity Exchange of Turkey (TOBB) Regional Meetings started with the Eastern and Southeastern Regional Meeting. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that, having convened to consult, chambers and commodity exchanges should inform their members about the services they provide and that the business community should benefit from these opportunities.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received Diyarbakır Commodity Exchange Council Chairman Engin Yeşil and the board of directors.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received the Chairman of Organized Industrial Zones Higher Organization Council (OSBÜK), Memiş Kütükcü and members of the Board of Directors at his office. ​
