Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the joint council meeting of Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Erzurum Commodity Exchange, Oltu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Pasin Chamber of Commerce and Industry.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the United States Ambassador to Ankara David M. Satterfield at a working dinner held at TOBB.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the TOBB Turkey e-Commerce Council meeting held via video conference.​

TOBB has provided tablets with keyboards to students in need who are receiving online education. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they provided tablets with keyboards for 30,000 students who were schooling online during the pandemic and that distribution to the Provincial Directorates of National Education began to be delivered to the students.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu participated in the 19th Consultation Council, held via videoconference chaired by Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan.​

The “Turkey's SMEs Bulletin” was published by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) in order to draw attention to the share of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the country's economy and to facilitate access of data related to SMEs by compiling them under a single bulletin.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the Presidents of Ordu, Fatsa, Ünye Chambers and Exchanges, Boards of Directors, Councils and Young and Women entrepreneurs.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the joint meeting of the Boards of Directors of Ankara Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, where the effects of the pandemic were evaluated.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB)President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu evaluated the impact of the pandemic on the sectors with Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) President Şekib Avdagic and ITO member Bread, Flour and Bakery Products, Education, Hotel, Restaurant-Food and Beverage Services, Passenger Transportation-Travel Agencies, Culture-Sports, Baklava-Pasta, Sugar Products Professional Committees. The meeting was held online via webinar. ​

Milas Olive Oil was registered as a geographical marker in the European Union. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), said, "We are proud that the geographical markers, which are our national treasures, are registered first in our country and then in the European Union."​
