Çorlu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Enis Sülün, rushed to emergency services, passed away despite all efforts. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that he was deeply saddened by the death of Enis Sülün and said, “We are deeply saddened by the loss of Mr. Sülün, who contributed greatly to the Turkish business community and the economy. I pray for the grace of Allah upon him and extend our condolences to his family and loves as well as our community.” ​

In his April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day message, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the power to carry Turkey to a bright future is national sovereignty and said, “April 23rd is the declaration that there is no will above that of the nation. It is the will of our nation which is the foundation of government in our country.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu evaluated the referendum results. Stating that a major source of uncertainty is behind us with the completion of the referendum process, Hisarcıklıoğlu said the following:​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu was re-elected as the Vice President of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture at the General Assembly held in Oman. Hisarcıklıoğlu, who met with Oman Trade and Industry Minister Al Sunaid, advocated for more investment opportunities for Turkish companies in Oman. Minister Al Sunaid also made a joint investment call in third countries, indicating that they wanted to see Turkish entrepreneurs in his country.​

Şanlıurfa Commodity Exchange’s new service building was opened by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Faruk Celik and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

The meeting of the Board of Directors of the ICC Turkey National Committee was held at the TOBB Union Center under the chairmanship of TOBB President, ICC Turkey and ICC Board Member M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his press statement regarding the 172nd anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Police Department, stated that the police, the most basic element of the security of society, derive their power from the law and the people, saying, “If we are able to live comfortably, the biggest share of that is due to the police.”​
