Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkish Retail Assembly Meeting was held by video conference under the chairmanship of Parliament Speaker Alp Önder Özpamukçu with the participation of TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay in charge of the Council with contributions of Burak Kaplan, Head of Retail Trade Department of the Ministry of Commerce General Directorate of Internal Trade, and Erdem Biçer, Head of advertising department of the General Directorate of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance, and the great interest and participation of high-level representatives of the private sector and non-governmental organizations.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) TIR Committee organized the March meeting via video conference.​

In cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Union of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES), a promotional meeting was held on the results of the “EU-Turkey Business Relations Survey”.​

The TOBB Accreditation Board, which is responsible for the execution of chamber/exchange accreditation system efforts, convened via video conference under the chairmanship of Board Chairman Faik Yavuz.​

Within the scope of TOBB Employees Qualified Orientation Program, the activities carried out by TOBB Transportation and Logistics Systems Department were introduced by Aslı Çalık, Head of The Department.​

The 12th Ordinary General Assembly of TMO-TOBB Agricultural Products Industry and Trade Inc., Turkey's first licensed warehouse company established to set an example for the private sector within the scope of Agricultural Products Licensed Storage Law No. 5300, was held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at TOBB Social Facilities.​

The Turkic CCI Women Entrepreneurs Committee held its first meeting in 2022 as part of the Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Turkic TSO) activities conducted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.​

EUROCHAMBRES President Luc Frieden and TOBB Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu met with Trade Minister Mehmet Muş. They discussed Turkey-EU trade relations and the modernization of the Customs Union. ​

Luc Frieden, President of the Union of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES), who came to Turkey at the invitation of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), visited TOBB Twin Towers.​
