Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Disaster Logistics Coordination Board meeting was held at TOBB İstanbul Service Building on Thursday, October 10, 2024 under the chairmanship of Tamer Kıran, Vice Chairman of TOBB Board of Directors and Chairman of the Board of Directors of IMEAK Chamber of Shipping.​

Ali Kopuz, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), delivered a speech at the “Doing Business with Türkiye” themed Business Forum organized in cooperation with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) TIR Committee convened via video conference under the chairmanship of Tamer Kıran, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, with the participation of TIR Committee members.​

The second TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Southeast Anatolia Regional Meeting was held at Mardin Dicle Development Agency chaired by Deniz Hitay, President and Regional Representative of TOBB Mardin Women Entrepreneurs Council.​

The number of Domestic Goods Certificates approved in September 2024 increased by 13.1% compared to the previous month.​

The opening program of the Rising Brands Türkiye Project, which will be carried out by TOBB İstanbul Women Entrepreneurs Council and TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council with the support of the İstanbul Chamber of Commerce and spread to 81 provinces under the leadership of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), was held online.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Telecommunications Council held its September 2024 meeting with the participation of TOBB Board Member Tuncay Yıldırım along with the new term presidency council.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing Council came together in Ankara under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci to elect the new term presidency council.​

TOBB TIR Operations Directorate organized a practical training for the staff of Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO) and Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO) on 3-4 October 2024 at the Union Center in order to see the applications of TIR and ATA Carnet systems on site and to ensure uniformity of operation.​

The number of Industrial Capacity Reports approved in the first 9 months of 2024 decreased by 0.4% compared to the same period last year.​
