Speaking at the opening ceremony hosted by Bursa CCI Chairman İbrahim Burkay, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We, as TOBB, are endowing a new training facility to Bursa. As the Chamber-Exchange community, I am proudest of these schools. From time to time they ask me; ‘President, why do you give so much importance to educational investments?’ Look, I'm a businessman. Every investment you make in the business world has risk. You make the investment, you profit or you incur loss. But there is only one investment that you will never incur loss: That's investment in education. That always brings profit. You win, the city wins, the country wins. The way to prosperity, unity and solidarity is through education. According to our belief, the record of person's deeds will not close in three instances: a good son raised, leaving behind knowledge and good works. Even after death will these bring you blessings.”

- TOBB invested in education in 81 provinces

Thanking Governor Izzettin Küçük for providing encouragement to them in this regard, and Bursa CCI President Ibrahim Burkay and Bursa Commodity Exchange President Özer Matlı for enabling this school to be built in Bursa, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Bursa is indeed a very lucky city. Many of our members made very serious contributions to education in Bursa.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that TOBB always puts education first and said that they invested in education in all 81 provinces and they continued to do so. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they established TOBB ETU, one of the best universities of Turkey, and went on: “We know that investing in education is the greatest service to the country. Because the more educated a country is, the richer it becomes. So, mothers, fathers: We will make sure our daughters are educated; We will make sure our sons are educated. They're not just yours, they are the children of this country! We need them. I hope that with the opening of this school, young people will receive the best education. It will provide further development for Bursa and our country.”

After the opening of the school, Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the opening of the mosque by the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, right next to the school and conveyed his well wishes.
