Protective policies restricting world economy
Speaking at the 61st General Assembly of ICC Turkey, ICC Turkey National Committee and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, emphasizing that protective policies are restricting the world’s economy, said, “Protective policies must be repealed at once, making trade the driving force behind the world economy’s growth.” Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The pie isn’t growing at a desirable rate. This is inciting protective policies.”

NGOs united against terror
NGOs, including the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), have united against terror. A joint declaration was made by NGOs during the Civilian Initiative Against Terror meeting attended by the Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu.

Visit to British Ambassador Moore
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the British Ambassador Richard Moore at his office. The precautions which need to be taken in order to further develop economic and commercial relations between England and Turkey were discussed in detail.

NGOs visit PM Davutoğlu with regards to the issue of terror
Presidents of TESK, TZOB, TÜRK-İŞ, MEMUR-SEN, TÜRKİYE KAMU-SEN, TİSK, HAK-İŞ and TOBB which make up Turkey-EU JAC visited Prime Minister Ahmet Davtuoğlu, sharing their sadness and concerns. On behalf of the NGOs, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu gave statements prior to and following the meeting.

NGOs united against terror
A joint declaration has been made regarding recent terror attacks by the institutions comprising the Turkey-EU JAC (Joint Arbitration Committee): the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), Turkey Union of Agriculture Chambers (TZOB), Confederation of Turkish Workers’ Syndicates (TÜRK-İŞ), Confederation of Workers’ Rights Syndicates (HAK-İŞ), Confederation of Civil Servants’ Syndicates (MEMUR-SEN), Turkey KAMU-SEN and Confederation of Turkish Employer Syndicates (TİSK).
