Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

TOBB University of Economics and Technology (ETU) Rector Dr. Mr. Adem Şahin along with students who were injured in various locations during the traitorous July 15th coup attempt visited Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President and TOBB ETU Chairman of the Board of Trustees M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

A ceremony was held with the participation of the public in the garden of the TGNA as a part of the July 15th Memorial Activities. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Parliament Speaker İsmail Kahraman addressed those present. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the ceremony with the presidents of Turkey-EU JCC Member NGOs.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TGNA), which convened for the July 15th Democracy and National Unity Day together with Turkey - EU JCC members.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received the students who scored highly on the 2017 University Placement Exam (LYS). TOBB ETU Rector Adem Sahin also attended the event.​

Turkey - EU Joint Consultative Committee’s (JCC) Turkish wing comprised non-governmental organizations (NGOs) Türk-İş, TESK, Memur-Sen, Hak-İş, TZOB, TİSK, Turkey Kamu-Sen and TOBB jointly made a joint statement on the 8st anniversary of July 15th in 81 provinces simultaneously.​

The International Consultative Meeting with Investors organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the International Investors Association (YASED) was hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at TOBB Twin Towers and attended by the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.​

The TOBB Board Members' project to plant sycamore trees for the Union Center continued with plantings made on behalf of TOBB Board Members Bülent Karakuş, Selçuk Öztürk and Yahya Toplu.​

The Regional Meetings of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) were completed with the Marmara Region. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said that presidents of chambers and stock exchanges should inform their members about the activities they are engaged in and that the Turkish private sector should be able to benefit from the opportunities of the whole business community.​

Aegean Region Consultation Meeting was held at TOBB Twin Towers. TOBB President M. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the new service building of Kayseri Chamber of Commerce, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Turkey will continue to grow and strengthen despite all odds, preserving its unity and solidarity.​
