Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Fairs Committee was convened via video conference under the chairmanship of TOBB Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu. ​

The Parent Organization of Organized Industrial Zones (OSBÜK) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Mediation and Dispute Resolution Center (TOBBUYUM) signed a cooperation protocol for the adoption, dissemination, promotion and formalization of well-intentioned cooperation in the areas of mediation.​

The Meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Mining Council was held online to discuss the current problems and innovations of the sector with the participation of public administration, non-governmental organizations and private sector representatives under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Şaban Aziz Karamehmetoğlu and Council President İbrahim Halil Kırşan.​

The April meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Durable Consumer Goods Council was held via video conference under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Oğuzhan A. Sadıkoğlu and Council Vice President Onur Burak Özaydemir.​

At the initiative of TOBB and the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK), a report titled, “Turkey-EU Customs Union,” was prepared. In addition to AHK, the report, written by TEPAV with the support of the Foundation for Economic Development, was supported by Trade Associations, of which European companies such as Austria, Benelux, France, Switzerland, Italy and the UK are members.​

The meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkish Waste and Recycling Industry Council was held with the strong interest and participation of industry representatives under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Members S. Selim Kandemir, Zeki Kıvanç and Council President Ali Kantur.​

Within the scope of chamber/exchange accreditation system efforts, Process Management and Quality Documentation Training for 15th and 16th Term Chambers/Exchanges, which are under accreditation process, was held on April 27th, 2021.​

TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council Networking Workgroup meeting was held online.​

The UBAK Workshop organized by TOBB was held via video conference in coordination with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.​

The Economic Report Review Commission met via video conference on April 19, 2021 to examine the draft “Economic Report for 2020” prepared by the Directorate of Fiscal and Social Policies for submission to the TOBB 77th General Assembly.​
