Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Mustafa Saraçöz, Secretary General of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), held a video conference with Dr. Khaled Hanefy, Secretary General of the Arab Chambers Association.​

The Launch Meeting of the Mentors to Million Women Program was held online in cooperation with TOBB and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkish Livestock Council met via video conference to address the problems of the sector under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz.​

Nurten Öztürk, President of the Women Entrepreneurs Council of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), and the accompanying female entrepreneurs visited Anıtkabir ahead of the International Women's Day Event on March 8th and paid their respects in the presence of Atatürk.​

The meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkish Capital Market Council was held via video conference with the participation of TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz and the senior representatives of public, private sector and non-governmental organizations under the chairmanship of Council President Sudi Aydemir.​

Within the scope of the efforts initiated by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) to raise awareness of possible disasters for them and their members, “Disaster Resilience” trainings, the second module of the Training of Trainers to Support Disaster Resilience and Business Continuity, which started with selected chambers as pilots in cooperation with Google and Idema, were also completed.​

The TIR Committee, appointed by the TOBB Board of Directors over a two-year period, convened via video conference.​

According to the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35), prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734 and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118, 1,616 Domestic Goods Certificates were approved by TOBB in February 2021.​

Vocational Training Centers Information Seminar was held in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Ministry of National Education and Top Organization of Organized Industrial Zones.​

Zeki Kıvanç, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), participated in the “Energy of My Business” webinar, moderated by Prof. Dr. Emre Alkın, where presentations on energy efficiency legislation, solar energy technologies and applications, energy efficiency systems, green energy certification and project finance were discussed.​
