TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the delegation accompanying him visited Chief of General Staff Hulusi Akar at his office, extending their condolences in regards to the coup attempt of the night of the 15th of July. ​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with representatives of civil society organizations, visited the Presidential Secretary General Fahri Kasırga.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu along with the representatives of international corporations active in Turkey, YASED Chairman Ahmet Erdem, Türk-İş Chairman Ergün Atalay, Hak-iş Chairman Mahmut Arslan and the representatives of TİSK and TZOB attended the High Level Talks with International Investors under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at the Presidential Palace.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with businesspeople in Kayseri with the British Ambassador Richard Moore.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the identification and prosecution of members of the Fethullah terror organization in the business world, however this should not be done in reference to rumors.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the Ankara Police Department and Special Operation Center which were targeted by attacks during the heinous coup attempt of July 15th and extended his condolences.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu received separately the Bodrum Chamber of Commerce Board Chair Mahmut Serdar Kocadon and Fethiye Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chair Akif Arıcan and the delegation accompanying him.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with various NGO chairpersons, attended the “Economy World Arbitration Meeting – Strong Democracy Strong Economy Target 2023” meeting presided over by Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci.​

Turkey-EU JCC Delegation Co-Chair and TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, following President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s reception, stated that NGOs would play a more active role against misinformation abroad as well as speculative news about the attempted coup and the events following it.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they view the Treasury Minister Naci Ağbal’s announcements regarding tax and premiums debts as well as cash repatriation favorably and that this is a message to the business community that the government is supporting them.​
