TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Deputy Prime Minister Veysi Kaynak at his office. Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated Kaynak for his posting as Deputy Prime Minister in the new government. The meeting wherein Hisarcıklıoğlu exchanged views with Minister Kaynak took place closed to the press at Kaynak’s office.​

The award ceremony for the Bio Start-Up Program, initiated this year by TEPAV, was held in San Francisco, USA.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his statement regarding the terror attack which took place in İstanbul, said, “The perpetrators of this attack are enemies of humanity. Spilled blood will not benefit anyone.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his address for the holy month of Ramadan, said, “May this beautiful month bring us all prosperity and peace; may it strengthen our feelings of brotherhood.”​

Built in Erzincan with TOBB’s contribution, the Binali Yıldırım Girls Anatolian Imam Hatip High School has been opened. Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım and TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu cut the ribbon at the ceremony. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that it is impossible for anyone to lose from investing in education.​

Visiting the Erzincan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TSO) and Erzincan Commodity Exchange, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu impressed the importance of geographical indications for preserving quality, “The Erzincan Tulum cheese has become a brand but it is imperative that it acquires geographical indication so it is identical everywhere.”​

At an organization held by TOBB and the Regional Environment Center (REC) Turkey supported by the European Union Ministry and Environment and Urbanism Ministry, the winners of the EU Environment Awards Turkey organization who will represent Turkey at the EU Environment Awards, have been announced.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the dinner held in honor of Spanish Ambassador Rafael Mendivil.​

Yahyalı Chamber of Commerce Chair Mustafa Tütüncü and the Board of Directors accompanying him visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that our relations with Africa have leapt forward in the last 20 years and said, “Our trade volume has increased by more than 10 times since 2000, reaching 8.5 billion USD from 750 million USD.”​
