“Mothers’ love is the greatest force in the world”

In his Mothers’ Day message, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the most meaningful and powerful love in the world is the one between mother and child, “Mothers, with the lion’s share in bringing up children, are the architects of society. Mothers’ love is the greatest force in the world.”​

“Lifting visas will open a new window of opportunity in Turkey – EU relations”

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they view the decision of the EU Commission proposing the lifting of Schengen visas for Turkish citizens with appreciation; stating that a great injustice will be prevented in regards to trade relations and that a new window of opportunity will be opened.​

In a message regarding Lailat al Miraj, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that holy nights are special times which strengthen the feelings of brotherhood and sharing among people, “This night which we will celebrate, the holy night of Miraj, will be an occasion to remember our spiritual values and human characteristics; I wish for it to bring prosperity to all humanity.”​

“We will attain our goals with workers, laborers and an entrepreneurial spirit”

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu celebrated the May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day of all laborers in his press release and stated that Turkey has set itself great goals and would attain them with workers, laborers and an entrepreneurial spirit in unity and solidarity.​

Insurance agents determine vision for 2023

A report on the world applications of insurance agents and their 2023 vision was published. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu likened the relationship between insurance companies and agents to a marriage bond and said, “Insurance companies can’t be happier than agents and agents can’t be happier than companies.” The report emphasizes need for insurance agents to consolidate and switch to a customer focused institutional structure.​

Speaking at the International Mediation Symposium, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu urged employers to utilize the mediation system to resolve conflict, and stated that they would attain results much quicker this way.​

TOBB and Croatian Chamber of Economy mobilize to improve cooperation

Visiting Croatian Chamber of Economy Chair Luka Burilovic, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that they are ready to further develop economic cooperation. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu conducted several meetings in Zagreb during the official Croatia visit of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Hisarcıklıoğlu was accompanied by TOBB Board Vice President Ali Kopuz.​

Speaking at the Turkey – EU High Level Economy Dialogue meeting, TOBB President and EUROCHAMBRES Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that strengthening economic relations between Turkey and the EU as well as the increasing economic balances would also strengthen political bonds, “Economic bonds are the best way to overcome political difficulties. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the opening ceremony of the EXPO 2016 Antalya International Gardening Exposition which will remain open for 6 months in Antalya.​
