Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Lead by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu on occasion of the 73rd TOBB General Assembly, TOBB Executive Board, Councils, chambers, commodity exchange presidents and delegates visited Anıtkabir, standing to attention in the presence of Atatürk.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu congratulated the Fenerbahçe Men's Basketball Team which won championship at the THY Euroleague Final Four.​

Speaking at the opening of the new service building of the Elazığ Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Governor Murat Zorluoğlu Conference Hall, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that the government has provided significant supports for employment and emphasized that they’ve employed a million new people in 4 months.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Haji Sıdıka Dumandağ Quran Course Dorm and Elazığ Commodity Exchange’s new bazaar area. He stated that they’ve provided more than a million jobs in 4 months and that the target employment will be reached by the end of the year.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the opening ceremony of the TOBB Anatolian Imam Hatip High School and Dorm in Karakoçan district of Elazığ as well as the mosque built by Elazığ Commodity Exchange Chair Mehmet Ali Dumandağ. Hisarcıklıoğlu said that today’s biggest capital is educated people, not gold or oil.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Tunceli Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Yusuf Cengiz at his office. Tunceli CCI Board of Directors and council members were also present during the visit wherein views were exchanged.​

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), visited Tunceli Governor Osman Kaymak after the groundbreaking ceremony for the TOBB Tunceli Girls Dormitory for 200 students. While Hisarcıklıoğlu thanked Governor Kaymak for his support for the business world and his services to Tunceli, Governor Osman Kaymak told TOBB President that he was very happy to welcome them for the good works they undertake on behalf of the city.​

The foundations for the TOBB Tunceli Girls Dormitory were laid. Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that the largest capital is educated people, and drew attention to Tunceli's success in education. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Tunceli Governor Osman Kaymak, TOBB Board Member Yahya Toplu, Tunceli Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Yusuf Cengiz and many businesspeople participated in the groundbreaking ceremony of TOBB Tunceli Girl Student Dormitory.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the May 19th spirit reflects the character of our nation in his statement for May 19th Atatürk Commemoration, Youth and Sports Day, and said, “Our nation with its independent spirit achieved one of the greatest victories in history with the War of Independence, which started on May 19th. The torch that the Veteran Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his friends lit 98 years ago will never fade.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Social Security Institution (SGK) Chairman Mehmet Selim Bağlı, Board Member Salih Kılıç and General Director of Insurance Premiums Ahmet Açıkgöz.​
