Speaking at the Role of Energy Projects in the Development of the ECO Region & TAPI and Turkmenistan Projects Conference held at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building which aims to promote the energy projects in the region of Turkmenistan and ECO (Economic Cooperation Organization), TOBB General Administrative Board Member Halim Mete said, “ECO Region is the heart of Eurasia. This region is the bridge between east and west in terms of the economic, political and diplomatic relations as well as socially. Therefore, the development of the 10 countries of the region is very important not only for the region but also for the global economy.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Vice President Tamer Kıran, in his speech at the opening of Turkey - Canada Energy and Infrastructure Forum, touched on the fact that 2018 is the 75th year of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Canada and Turkey.​

TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç attended the tripartite advisory board meeting, chaired by Family, Labor and Social Services Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk. ​

Eastern Anatolia and Southeast Anatolia Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Commodity Exchanges vowed to consult with each other in seeking solutions to problems encountered in the region during a consultation meeting hosted by Elazığ TSO and Elazığ Commodity Exchange . ​

Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of (TOBB) Vice Chairman Ali Kopuz, attended the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) International Internship Program Promotion and Certification Ceremony.​

Established between the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), 'Turkey-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum Turkish Party 1. Meeting', convened under TOBB Board Member M. Cihat Lokmanoğlu on October 12, 2018 at TOBB. Tasks were distributed during the meeting, TOBB Board Member Cihat Lokmanoğlu was elected President of Turkey-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum while Ayla Harp, Feridun Torunoğlu and İbrahim Taşel were elected as Vice Presidents.​

Medical Council of Turkey, convened under TOBB Deputy Secretary-General Cengiz Delibaş and the President of the Council Özgür İncekara and the attendances General Manager of State Equipment Office Mücahit Civriz, Deputy General Manager of Public Hospitals Selim Bener, SGK Medical Device Department Head Mehmet Akif Erdem, with the participation of relevant private sector, non-governmental organizations and association representatives.​

TOBB Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the Ankara Logistics Summit at the Ankara Logistics Base.​

EUROCHAMBRES TOBB and Polish Chamber of Commerce delegations participating in the European Companies Assembly in Brussels met at the TOBB Brussels Representative Office.​

The TOBB Delegation led by TOBB Board of Directors Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu participated in the European Companies Assembly held in the European Parliament General Assembly Hall. TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken, TOBB EU Harmonization Commission President Göksel Başar, President of Bolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Türker Ateş, President of Isparta Chamber of Commerce and Industry Şükrü Başdeğirmen, President of TOBB European Women Entrepreneurs Network Mülkiye Aytar and TOBB EU Department Head Mustafa Bayburtlu took part in the delegation.​
