Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

During his speech at the business dinner held at the TOBB Twin Towers prior to the Economic Cooperation organization Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EİT TSO) 20th Executive Council Meeting and 14th General Assembly, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the need for the region’s countries to increase cooperation and remove restrictions on trade.​

Speaking at the Chambers of Commerce Council Meeting, the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the US economy is recovering, “We considered this good news for the global economy. However, that has brought on problems of its own. We used to consider if FED might raise interest rates, whereas now we are trying to figure out how many times it will increase them in 2016.”​

Lead by Hisarcıklıoğlu, the Turkey – EU Joint Arbitration Committee (JAC) delegation visited Mahmut Arslan who was reelected as Hak-İş Chairman at his office. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that they have in cooperation with Hak-İş and said, “I would like to thank the Chairman for Hak-İş’ contributions to social accord and dialogue under his leadership. We are overjoyed to be working together again.”​

In his message regarding the Night of Mawlid, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the Prophet Mohammad is the completing agent of social ethics, “It is my hope that, symbolizing the birth of the Holy Prophet, the Night of Mawlid brings benevolence upon all Muslims and humanity.”​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the attendees of the 31st Council Member Information Seminar. Speaking with those in attendance and taking photos with them, Hisarcıklıoğlu thanked the council members for their interest in the seminar.​

Consultation Meeting of the Chamber / Exchange Chairs of Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia Regions was held with the attendances of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Şimşek, Development Minister Cevdet Yılmaz and Customs and Commerce Minister Bülent Tüfekci.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Environment and Urbanization Fatma Güldemet Sarı at her office and extended his well wishes for Sarı’s appointment as minister.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Minister of Health Mehmet Müezzinoğlu at his office and extended his well wishes for Müezzinoğlu’s appointment as minister.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdağ at his office and extended his well wishes for Bozdağ’s appointment as minister.​

The Alternative Conflict Resolution Methods Symposium Final Declaration was announced by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu during the symposium in Antalya taking place between the 14th and 17th of October, 2015, which aims to lower the workload of the judicial system through the efforts of the Court of Appeal, Council of State, Ministry of Justice and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.​
