Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Informal Board Meeting of the Union of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES), of which the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu is the Vice President, was held online. ​

Within the scope of the Chamber/Commodity Exchange Accreditation System efforts, the completely renewed accreditation standard was explained to the Secretaries General and Accreditation Officers of the Class A accredited Chambers. At the same time, information was given about the new corporate identity efforts of the Accreditation System. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) announced the fair statistics for 2022. In 2022, a total of 413 fairs were organized in Türkiye.​

Faik Yavuz, Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, met with Ana Teresita Gonzalez, Deputy First Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment of Cuba.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board of Directors Treasurer Faik Yavuz met with Moldovan Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu and the accompanying delegation at a working lunch. The Moldova- Türkiye Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Chairman Fiodor Gagauz and Moldovan Ambassador to Ankara Dmitri Croitor also took part in the dinner.​

The statistics of the 2022 industrial capacity report were announced by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB).​

The first evaluation meeting after the amendment of the road transport regulation was held in İzmir. TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz Delibaş also made a speech at the meeting.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Fairs Committee convened under the chairmanship of TOBB Vice President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu. ​

The Türkiye Disaster Response Plan meeting was hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in cooperation with the Support Services Department of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure with the participation of representatives of the Maritime, Road and Passenger Transport, Civil Aviation, Transport and Logistics and E-commerce councils and the Bursa, Bolu and İstanbul Regional Directorates.​

In the year 2022 the number of newly established Companies and the number of cooperatives increased by 27,8% and 38,8% while the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 1,7% with respect to the year 2021.​
