Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

A meeting was held with the participants of the Ministry of National Education, TOBB and TOBB ETU to evaluate the work carried out within the scope of the Vocational Education Cooperation Protocol. ​

Within the scope of the efforts initiated by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), to raise awareness of possible disasters for the Chambers/Exchanges and their members, has started the Training of Trainers to Support Disaster Resilience and Business Continuity Project with selected pilot chambers in cooperation with Google&Idema. Within the scope of digital resilience, which is the first module, training was given on the Basics of Digital Marketing, Introduction of Google Workspace (Gsuite) Products, Data Collection, Google My Business, Google Ads, Introduction of Google Analytics Products. ​

The online meeting, chaired by TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council President Nurten Öztürk with the participation of Cengiz Günay, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), discussed the activity planned to be held within the scope of the International Women's Day Event on March 8. ​

The February meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Durable Consumer Goods Council was held via videoconference method under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Oğuzhan A. Sadıkoğlu and Council President Fatih Kemal Ebiçlioğu.​

“Geographical Marker Guide for Chambers and Exchanges” was prepared to guide the Chambers and Exchanges that will apply for geographical marker registration.​

With the participation of Hakan Ülken, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Hasan Süver, Deputy Minister of Environment and Urbanization, the second meeting of the Construction Sector Working Group was held in the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.​

The second day program of XIII Corporate Governance Summit was held online on February 25, 2021, in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey.​

The Joint Board Meeting of the Turkey-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum was held online co-chaired by Turkish Side Co-Chairman and TOBB Board Member Özer Matlı and Ukrainian Side Co-Chairman Sergiy Savchuk.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkish Software Council met via video conference method to elect the Presidential Council and make an overall assessment of the sector under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member in charge of the Council Mehmet Büyüksimitci.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Cosmetics and Cleaning Products Industry Council was held via video conference with the participation of TOBB Board Member in charge of the Council Cengiz Günay, with the great interest of senior representatives of public, private sector and non-governmental organizations under the chairmanship of Council President Ahmet Pura.​
