Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Çanakkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Selçuk Semizoğlu and Vice President Fahrettin Ersoy visited TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office. The meeting was held closed to the press. ​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Pasinler Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) President Aydın Taşbaşı and Oltu CCI President Baki Karaca.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Erzurum Governor Okay Memiş at his office. Governor Memiş and Hisarcıklıoğlu exchanged views on the economy and commercial life of the province. ​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu consulted with businessmen of the city at the meeting hosted by Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry President.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, together with the delegation accompanying him, visited the Erzurum Commodity Exchange and met with the members of the Council. Listening to the problems and suggestions of council members hosted by the Erzurum Commodity Exchange President Yıldırım Hakan Oral and Council Speaker Yavuz Güney, Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that the agricultural sector is indispensable for the country's economy.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Deputy Trade Minister Gonca Yılmaz Batur. During the visit at the TOBB Twin Towers wherein a mutual exchange of views took place. Issues concerning both the Ministry and the TOBB were discussed. The meeting took place closed to the press. ​

Ukraine's Ambassador to Turkey, Andrii Sybiha, visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. Discussing trade and economic relations between Turkey and Ukraine at the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu provided information regarding TOBB’s activities to Ambassador Sybiha.​

Speaking at the Plenary Assembly of the Association of Balkan Chambers (ABC), TOBB President, ABC Term Chair, European Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres) Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu called for increasing trade and investment. “Our priority should be to increase the trade and investment relations between us as the Balkans,” said Hisarcıklıoğlu, emphasizing that the path of peace and wealth is through trade.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the council members of chambers/exchanges at the Information Seminar. Stating that they received positive results from previous seminars, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that 65% of council members have changed and they have started these trainings again upon request.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with Minister of Trade and Ruhsar Pekcan and the delegation accompanying her, attended the opening of the “9th Turkish Export Products Fair,” held in Ashgabat.​
