Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President and TOBB ETU Board of Trustees Chairman M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, said that after LGS 2020, students and their families have reached an important stage, and at this point they want to remind them of a very important option supported by the chamber and commodity exchange community. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Your diploma will be your profession,” and invited young people to choose from the 103 schools in 81 provinces within the scope of the program they started as Ministry of National Education (MEB), TOBB and TOBB University of Economics and Technology (ETU).​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and KOSGEB President Cevahir Uzkurt participated in the “KOSGEB SME Supports Information Webinar” organized in cooperation with TOBB and KOSGEB.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu issued a message in regards to July 15th, Democracy and National Unity Day. Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his message that they have not forgotten and will not forget this despicable attack on the future of our country, and that they will never bow anything but the national will.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, OSBUK President Memiş Kütükçü, OIZ Presidents and Board Members came together for consultation in the joint organization of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Upper Board of Organized Industrial Zones (OSBUK). The meeting focused on OIZs and industrialists. “I would like to thank our OIZs and industrialists who constitute Turkey's production power,” Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his assessment of the meeting. ​

Balıkesir Chamber of Commerce President Rahmi Kula, Balıkesir Chamber of Industry President Hasan Ali Eğinlioğlu and Balıkesir Commodity Exchange President Ersin Erdoğmuş, together with the Balıkesir Deputies Yavuz Subaşı, Mustafa Canbey and Belgin Uygur, visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu the Economic Development Foundation‘s (İKV) 58th General Assembly conducted via video conference. Turkey-EU relations were discussed at the meeting attended by Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Faruk Kaymakçı.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Sivas – Sivas Commodity Exchange Joint Council Meeting held via webinar.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Recovery Participation Share consultation meeting along with Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Industry and Technology Hasan Büyükdere and Çetin Ali Dönmez and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Birpınar. TOBB Board Member Zeki Kıvanç also attended the online meeting. At the meeting, the problems and demands of the GEKAP process were forwarded to the relevant Ministries.​

Corum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) President Çetin Başaranhıncal and Corum Commodity Exchange (CE) President Naki Özkubat visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu.​

At the video conference meeting organized with the participation of M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment and Urbanization, the problems and demands of the sector were discussed within the scope of the regulation of the classification of contractors.​
