Family and Social Policies Minister Fatma Şahin stated that social justice, peace and security in institutions under the ministry had gained importance.

Relating the important cooperation between the ministry and the heads of powerful civil society organizations like Hisarcıklıoğlu, Şahin said, “We will resolve issues of social peace and justice with President Hisarcıklıoğlu while working together on projects improve the country’s economic development in order to support the country’s social peace and tranquility. We will enact very important works towards the prevention of poverty, abolishment of women’s poverty and poverty-employment relations.”

Expressing gratitude for the work Hisarcıklıoğlu has accomplished regarding women entrepreneurs, Şahin went on, “When I joined the Grand National Assembly as the first woman representative from Gaziantep, I was directed the question ‘Why are there less women in the Assembly?’ I said ‘This is a social struggle. We must enlist women to win the overall struggle’.

With the goal Hisarcıklıoğlu has set today and the success he’s displayed is all of our success and I believe as the minister of women entrepreneurs in Turkey, I believe we will increase their numbers. A bird with one wing cannot fly, an athlete wing a one leg cannot run. We have to use the power, the mind and the experience of half the population. We will achieve this goal with President Hisarcıklıoğlu.”
