On his Jordan visit to the 12th Board of Directors Meeting and the 27th General Assembly of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Jordan Prime Minister Marouf Bakhit.

In the meeting Turkey-Jordan economic and commercial relations were discussed. TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the suitability of the political stability and investments in Jordan, stating that TOBB places importance on the development of commercial and economic relations with Jordan.

TOBB President went on to say that Jordan is well situated geographically for reaching the Middle East and Africa.

Hisarcıklıoğlu also requested Jordan’s support for Turkey’s UN Security Council membership.​
