Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu provided information about the D-8 program in Antalya and stated that he will attend meetings in Denizli after the visit to Acıpayam. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Acıpayam is one of the districts which make Denizli a brand and stressed the need for more entrepreneurs in Turkey.

Stating that prosperity is not possible without entrepreneurs, Hisarcıklıoğlu underlined that women entrepreneurs should be encouraged. The TOBB President said, “You must bring your daughters into business. Daughters are entitled to everything sons are. Please respect their rights.”

He stated that in order to increase the service quality and capacity in Acıpayam, Chamber should be accredited and proposed to do this. Stating that resources of the TOBB and chambers and commodity exchanges are being made available for the use of their, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they will meet with the Union of Banks in order to solve some of the problems regarding the issue.

- Difficulties are overcome through cooperation

Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Recently, the demand for VAT and SCT reductions in the sector such as automobiles, home appliances and construction were conveyed to me by my chambers and exchanges. I relayed it to the government. This was made possible. Acıpayam Chamber of Commerce also contributed to this. We will overcome our troubles again. Do not be pessimistic at all. Maintain hope. Do not alienate each other. W3e will overcome our troubles.”

Acıpayam Chamber of Commerce President Mehmet Sürücüoğlu stated that this was Hisarcıklıoğlu’s third visit to Acıpayam and thanked TOBB President for his interest.
