2nd Ministry of Commerce Advisory Board Meeting held

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the second meeting of the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Trade under the auspices of the Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan at the Turkish Foreign Trade Complex of TIM.​
Attending the meeting in addition to Hisarcıklıoğlu and Pekcan were Turkish Eximbank General Director Adnan Yıldırım, Turkey Exporters Assembly (TIM) President Ismail Gülle, the Turkish Industrialists and Business People's Association (TUSIAD) Chairman Erol Bilecik, Association of Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) President Abdurrahman Kaan, Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) President Nail Olpak, Turkey Contractors Association (TMB) President Mithat Yenigün, International Investors Association (YASED) President Ahmet Erdem attended the event.
The meeting focused on current issues related to the economy and business environment and the New Economy Program announced by Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak.
The Advisory Board meeting also saw discussion on updating of the Customs Union agreement, strengthening the facilities of Eximbank, work on e-commerce and digitalization, as well as private sector demands.
