In his Sacrifice Holiday message, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that holidays are special days in which divine feelings of love, fraternity and sharing come to the fore.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said, "As people of a culture which mandates embracing instead of fighting, unity instead of dissent, we know that holidays are the celebration of the belief that good will conquer evil, love will conquer hate."

In his message TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said:

"We are once again overjoyed at being able to appreciate the blessed Holiday of Sacrifice. Holidays important opportunities for considering mending broken hearts, forgiving mistakes and give greater importance to peace, solidarity and fraternity in our lives.

As members of a society which believes that 'the most beneficent of people are those who are beneficent to people', we must always recognize the beauty and unity of strength brought about by helping each other and solidarity. The strength of the bonds that keep its people together is what makes a society strong. Doubtlessly, it is unswerving adherence to tolerance, the sharing of joy and sadness and love for each other that keeps these bonds strong.

Our greatest asset is love. These holidays are a reminder and opportunity for those who have been remiss in putting it into practice. Let us not forget that every endeavor which succeeds is wrought with love.

It is with these thoughts that I celebrate the Sacrifice Holiday of our nation and the whole Islam community on behalf of the Turkish business world and hope that we may celebrate many more holidays in peace and love with unity and fraternity."
