Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Chamber/Exchange Council Members Information Seminar, covering the days of December 23-24, 2023, started at TOBB Twin Towers.​

During the first eleven months of the year 2023 the number of newly established Companies and the number of sole proprietorships decreased by 7,3% and 24,9% while the number of cooperatives increased by 67,5% with respect to the same period of the year 2022.​

At the meeting held at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) on December 18-19, 2023, the delegation of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan was informed by the bureaucrats of the Ministry of Trade about the Rules of Origin in force in Türkiye and the TOBB MEDOS software. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) held the TOBB Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Board and TOBB Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Board Executive Committee Presidents Regional Representative elections in 10 regions determined by TOBB.​

The delegation of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry met with Ali Kopuz, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TOBB at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) İstanbul Service Building.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Paper and Paper Products Industry Council was held at TOBB İstanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Council President Erdal Sükan with the participation of TOBB Board Members Engin Yeşil and Zeki Kıvanç.​

Within the scope of the Türkiye-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum, a meeting on ‘Good Agricultural Practices in Mersin and its Surroundings’ was hosted by M. Cihat Lokmanoğlu, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and Co-Chair of the Türkiye-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum.​

Representatives of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and EY Türkiye convened at the ‘Inflation Adjustment Seminar’ and evaluated the economic and financial developments on the agenda.​

TEPAV Founding Director Prof. Dr. Güven Sak met with Jason Buntin, US Department of Commerce Trade Representative for the Middle East and North Africa. During the meeting, US-Türkiye trade relations and green transformation issues were discussed. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Waste and Recycling Industry Council meeting was held via video conference with the participation of TOBB Vice President Ender Yorgancılar and Board Member İbrahim Burkay under the chairmanship of Council President Ali Kantur.​
