Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

A meeting was held with all stakeholders on the sale of medical devices over the internet at TOBB. According to current legal regulations, only 10 products can be sold online. During the meeting, the conditions under which the number of products allowed to be sold over the internet can be increased and how they can be increased were discussed with the participation of all stakeholders. ​

TOBB Turkey Jewelry Industry Council convened under Council Chair İmam Altınbaş with the attendances of council members and Istanbul Deputy Regional Director of the Ministry of Commerce Eray Dağınık in Istanbul to make an overall assessment of the sector.​

As a part of Turkey Women Entrepreneur Power Meetings, the Manisa Women Entrepreneur Power Meeting organized by the TOBB Manisa Women Entrepreneurs Council was hosted at Manisa Chamber of Commerce on November 14, 2018.​

TOBB Turkey E-Commerce Council convened under Council Speaker Öget Kantarcı at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building to discuss the current problems of the sector. ​

The TIR Committee, which was appointed by the TOBB Board of Directors for a two-year period, met on Wednesday, November 14th, under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Vice President and TIR Committee Chairman Tamer Kıran. ​

The number of newly established companies, sole proprietorships and cooperatives increased by 11,90% , 8,63% and 19,70% respectively according to the previous month.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the reception in honor of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the North Cyprus Turkish Republic (TRNC) hosted by TRNC Ambassador Kemal Köprülü. ​

Organized through the Union Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Family, Labor and Social Services Ministry of Labor Health and Security General Directorate cooperation, “Domestic and National Mining Equipment Advisory Meeting” was held at the TOBB Twin Towers on November 14, 2018. Attending the meeting were officials from Family, Labor and Social Services, Ministry of Industry and Technology, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources Ministry, NGO and business representatives as well as by Turkey Mining Assembly members.​

Turkey Telecommunications Council meeting was held under Council Chair Rıdvan Uğurlu and the participation of Information Technologies and Communication Authority Vice Chairman Gazali Çiçekçi and members of the Council. During the meeting, a detailed presentation on the New Government System was made and the sectoral current developments were evaluated. ​

Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz participated in the "Agenda 2018 Overseas Contracting Services" program organized by the Turkey Contractors Association (TMB). ​
