Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

TOBB Board Vice Chair İbrahim Çağlar attended the Belarus-Turkey Business Forum held as a part of the official visit of President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.​

Vocational Education and Employment Mobilization Workgroup convened under Çorlu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Secretary General İbrahim Karagöz at the Çorlu Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the participation of İŞKUR Çorlu Service Center Branch Manager Vicdan Güçer, Chief Deputy Gamze Aygün, Business and Vocation Advisor Nurettin Akıncı and Çorlu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Project Service Chief Cihan Tomris.​

TOBB Turkish Trade Fairs Council convened in Ankara under the chairmanship of Council Chair Cihat Alagöz. During the meeting, the developments related to the sector in the last month and the work carried out were presented by Chairman Cihat Alagöz.​

Vocational Education and Employment Mobilization Workgroup convened under ATSO Vice Chairman Mustafa Issi with the participation of Neva Akçayır and Mustafa Akgül from İŞKUR Provincial Directorate, ATSO Deputy Secretary General Ercan Mutlu, Education Director Anıl Işıldağ and MESEM Director Tolga Cenk Türk.​

The Ibero-American Association of Chambers of Commerce (AICO), of which TOBB is an observer member, honorary member, strategic partner and the only official representative in Turkey, held its 43rd General Assembly meeting in Seville, Spain, on the 7th and 8th of November 2016.​

As a part of the official visit to Turkey on the 7th and 8th of November, 2016, Foreign Affairs Minister of Bosnia-Herzegovina Igor Crnadak and the delegation accompanying him visited TOBB, meeting with Turkish investors during a business luncheon hosted by TOBB Board Vice Chair Ender Yorgancılar.​

The SME Information Site was visited by 44,600 people in October 2016. The number of visitors between November 2015 and October 2016 (1 year) was 500,806.​

The first meeting of the Vocational Education and Employment Mobilization, in accordance with the " Vocational Education and Employment Mobilization" protocol signed between the General Directorate of Turkish Employment Agency of Turkey (İŞKUR) and TOBB, was held with the participation of representatives of Kars Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KATSO), Kars Commodity Exchange and İŞKUR Kars Provincial Directorate on 18.08.2016.​

TOBB Board Member Hakan Ülken participated in the visit of Development Minister Lütfi Elvan to India between the 3rd and 5th of November, 2016.​

President of the Supreme Court of Appeals, İsmail Rüştü Cirit, attending the “Road to Appeals and Law” seminar organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) presented Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz a plaque for TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu for his contributions.​
