Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The third meeting of the Turkish Brand Monitoring Committee was held at the Ministry of Economy. TOBB Board Member Cengiz Günay attended the meeting representing the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.​

Accreditation training of the 12th Term Chambers/ Exchanges, which began their accreditation process in 2015, were continued with "Pre-Auditing Information Training" held at the TOBB Social Facilities in the Şefik Tokat Hall.​

Mediation Training for the Supreme Court of Appeals Members conducted by TOBB ETÜ - SEM was held at TOBB Twin Towers. After the 6-day training program, the participants were presented with certificates.​

Work was started in Kütahya in regards to the Vocational Education and Employment Mobilization Protocol signed between the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the General Directorate of the Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).​

The 3rd Vocational Education and Employment Mobilization Workgroup Meeting was hosted Kırıkkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the participation of Kırıkkale Commodity Exchange, Kırıkkale Chamber of Commerce and Industry and İŞKUR representatives.​

Vocational Education and Employment Mobilization Workgroup convened at the Polatlı İŞKUR Central Directorate with the participation of Polatlı İŞKUR Branch Chief Ali Fuat Eren, Faith Ölmez from the Polatlı Chamber of Commerce, Turgay Aydoğdu from the Polatlı Commodity Exchange, Polatlı İŞKUR Director Ayşe Özkan and Polatlı İŞKUR Director Mürşide Süleymanoğulları.​

The number of newly established companies, cooperatives and sole proprietorships increased by 43,47%, 17,07% and 32,39% respectively, according to the previous month.​

Of the 2,462 capacity reports verified in October, 711 were in İstanbul, 173 in Bursa, 155 in Ankara, 155 in İzmir, 82 in Gaziantep, 74 in Kocaeli, 108 in Konya, 56 in Kayseri and Tekirdağ and 51 in Adana.​

The Turkish Machine and Equipment Manufacturers Council convened to discuss the current developments in the sector.​

The Global Entrepreneurship Congress, “the Davos of Entrepreneurship,” with participation of almost 10,000 people from 160 countries, will be held in İstanbul in March 2018.​
